    Chris Maurer, PT, MPT, ATP, has been with Shepherd Center since 1995 and manages the Center for Assistive Technologies, encompassing the Access Technology Lab, Driving Evaluation and Rehabilitation Program, and Wheelchair Seating & Mobility Clinic.<\/p>\n

    The most gratifying aspect of Chris Maurer\u2019s role is witnessing the Center’s experts provide independence to patients in areas that truly bring freedom and meaning to their lives. To her, the Center is a blend of art and science, where numerous creative, innovative, and off-the-shelf solutions \u2014 not readily available elsewhere \u2014 are created.<\/p>\n
