    Lisa Eagen is a dedicated exercise physiologist at Shepherd Center, where she excels in addressing the diverse exercise goals of inpatients, day program patients, and ProMotion community members. Focusing on building strength and endurance through both traditional and adaptive exercise, Lisa tailors each treatment plan to meet the unique needs of individuals with neurological injuries and diseases. She emphasizes the importance of learning from patients and clients, advocating for an open-minded approach and purposeful listening.<\/p>\n

    Lisa’s favorite aspect of her work at Shepherd Center is the continuous learning it offers. The complexity and diversity of the patient and community demographic provide her with daily challenges and opportunities for growth. Her commitment to patient care is reflected in her enthusiasm for new experiences and knowledge.<\/p>\n

    A former 1996 Olympian in Team Handball, Lisa brings the same dedication and passion to her current role. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, gardening, and hiking.
