Fellows gain hands-on experience by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and providing direct care to a diverse patient population. Shepherd Center is internationally accredited by the Joint Commission and CARF, and designated as a NIDILRR-Model System for Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury.<\/p>\n<p>This two-year fellowship adheres to the Baltimore Conference on Specialty Education and Training in Rehabilitation Psychology, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching experience. Fellows receive training in assessment, intervention, and consultation, with an emphasis on patient- and family-centered care. They are equipped to advocate for the field of rehabilitation psychology in interdisciplinary settings at local, regional, and national levels.
