Please check back for future training opportunities.<\/h3>\n<h2>Fellowship eligibility<\/h2>\n<p>Shepherd\u2019s Clinical Neuropsychology Fellowship Program welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and lifestyles to submit their applications. We offer two 24-month resident positions, available to individuals who:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Possess a Doctoral degree, including defense of a dissertation, from a clinical or counseling psychology doctoral program accredited by the American Psychology Association (APA) or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) before the start date of the fellowship.<\/li>\n<li>Have completed an APA\/CPA-accredited psychology internship program with a major area of study or emphasis in neuropsychology training\/education.<\/li>\n<li>Are eligible to work in the United States and can complete the required employment eligibility verification upon hire. Shepherd is unable to commit to sponsoring H-1B visas currently.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Application checklist<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Letter of interest including training and clinical experiences and an explanation of your specific interests in our fellowship program<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum vitae<\/li>\n<li>APPCN Verification of Completion of Doctorate Form<\/li>\n<li>Copy of one de-identified clinical case, preferably one relevant to our clinical population<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following materials should also be submitted, directly from the source:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Official graduate school transcripts sent directly from the program.*<\/li>\n<li>Three letters of recommendation from professionals familiar with your academic or clinical work, at least one of which is from a current supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*For applicants that have not completed their dissertation defense, a letter from the chairperson of the dissertation indicating the status of the research project and the anticipated date of completion is required. <strong>No applicant will be permitted to begin fellowship training if his or her dissertation has not been completed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Resident matching program<\/h2>\n<p>As an APPCN member, Shepherd Center\u2019s Clinical Neuropsychology Fellowship program participates in the APPCN National Match Program and observes the procedures and rules involved in this process. Applicants are instructed to register with the National Matching Service. Information can be obtained directly from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.natmatch.com\/appcnmat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NMS website<\/a>. <strong>Our APPCN Matching Program Code is 9942.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Interview process<\/h2>\n<p>All interviews will be completed virtually, in accordance to APPCN recommendations.<\/p>\n<h2>Fellowship salary<\/h2>\n<p>As a fellow, you\u2019ll receive a stipend based on NIH fellowship rates, reflecting your years of post-graduate experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Year one:<\/strong> $61,428<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year two:<\/strong> $61,884<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Fellowship benefits<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to your stipend, you\u2019ll enjoy a range of benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, plus basic life and disability insurance.<\/li>\n<li>24 days of paid time off per year.<\/li>\n<li>Professional development funds are available for conference presentations and travel.
