We offer one 13-month fellowship position available to individuals who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree or certificate in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy school.<\/li>\n<li>Active Georgia state physical therapy (PT) license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Application submission instructions<\/h2>\n<p>Mercer University and Shepherd Center participate in the Residency and Fellowship Physical Therapy Centralized Application Service (RF-PTCAS). To apply, the following must be submitted through the <a class=\"\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/rfptcas.liaisoncas.com\/applicant-ux\/#\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RF-PTCAS website<\/a> by the deadline to be considered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RF-PTCAS residency application<\/li>\n<li>Resume or CV<\/li>\n<li>Responses to essay questions<\/li>\n<li>Letters of recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Copy of PT license<\/li>\n<li>School transcripts<\/li>\n<li>Documentation of relevant CEU&#8217;s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Application deadlines<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Applications open on RF-PTCAS in October, and all application materials must be submitted by Feb. 1.<\/strong> Selection will be based on a letter of intent, the applicant&#8217;s qualifications, and letters of recommendation. After the initial review process, select applicants will be invited for an interview.<\/p>\n<h2>Residency costs and benefits<\/h2>\n<p>The residency program fee is $10,000, which covers expenses associated with the didactic component of the program. Payment may be made monthly or quarterly and is specified in the signed residency agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Residents are paid for their clinical hours and are also eligible for
