She earned a master&#8217;s degree in social work from Tulane University and is an accredited case manager.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a social worker in the hospital setting, I have referred many patients to Shepherd Center over the years. It was always so rewarding when the patients and families came back to visit and shared how Shepherd helped restore not just their ability to function, but also their hope for the future.
