She received her bachelor of social work degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and her master&#8217;s in social work from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.<\/p>\n<p>A native of eastern Tennessee, Susan says, \u201cMy work with Shepherd allows me to interact with patients and families and provide brain and spinal cord injury education, as well as the opportunity to explore possibilities for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In her free time, Susan enjoys traveling, hiking, back-packing and gardening.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Susan Lawhorn is an Access Case Manager at Shepherd Center.
