After graduating with a master&#8217;s degree in sports management from The University of Georgia, she later returned to Georgia State University and earned a master&#8217;s degree in respiratory therapy. She then practiced at Northside Atlanta Hospital as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.<\/p>\n<p>She transitioned to Select Medical as a clinical liaison where she performed pre-admission clinical assessments and counseling for patients in acute care settings needing long term care.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is rewarding to see the level of commitment Shepherd provides individuals with catastrophic injuries. Through personalized care we focus on recovery by maximizing independence, exceeding goals, and positive outcomes.
