She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Prior to her triage position, she worked for Encompass Health Rehab in Huntsville and Birmingham, Alabama as a rehab liaison and was also a bedside nurse for about five years on the neurosurgery floor where she cared for many brain and spinal cord injury patients, which is where her love for neuro rehab began.<\/p>\n<p>Lauren lives in Huntsville, Alabama, with her husband and stepson.
