      Dr. Sherrill Loring is a neurologist at the Andrew C. Carlos Multiple Sclerosis Institute at Shepherd Center. Her journey into the medical field was inspired by a childhood aspiration to become a doctor, which was further solidified when her father suffered a stroke when she was six years old. This personal experience steered her towards neurology, despite it being an unconventional path in her family.<\/p>\n

      Dr. Loring finds her greatest motivation in the transformative impact her work has on patients’ lives. She takes immense pride in the specialized care provided at the MS Institute, particularly in handling challenging cases and improving the lives of young patients who have their futures ahead of them. She was especially drawn to Shepherd Center due to its renowned reputation and comprehensive approach to multiple sclerosis treatment.<\/p>\n

      Research is a crucial component of Dr. Loring’s role. She thrives on the combination of clinical research and patient-focused care, valuing the direct application of research to patient treatment. This hands-on approach ensures that her work remains relevant and impactful, driven by the needs and experiences of her patients.<\/p>\n
