He serves as medical director of Shepherd Center&#8217;s 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU) and critical care services. He did his post-graduate training in internal medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine from 2003-2007. He also completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Shepherd Center, Dr. Quintero was the medical director of the intensive care unit, cardiopulmonary services, and inpatient hospital medicine at Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Southeastern Medical Center in Newnan, Georgia.
