    About<\/h2>\n

    Joe Nowicki joined Shepherd Center in October 2019 and is the vice president of facility services. In this role, Joe leads, coordinates, and oversees engineering, transportation, security, and construction for all Shepherd Center properties. He also ensures Shepherd Center\u2019s compliance with The Joint Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and other applicable codes and regulations.<\/p>\n

    Joe has more than 28 years of experience in facilities operations, environment of care compliance, financial administration, and operations of general healthcare facilities, as well as five years in the hospitality industry. Before joining Shepherd Center, he was administrator of care and facilities operations at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Before that, he served as vice president of facilities operations and various other similar roles at Children\u2019s Healthcare of Atlanta.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
