    About<\/h2>\n

    Jo Tapper joined Shepherd Center in October of 2021. In this role, Jo provides leadership for the marketing and public relations team, which is part of the Office of Advancement. She also serves as a member of the senior management team (SMT).<\/p>\n

    Before joining Shepherd, Jo served as executive director of cardiovascular strategy and professional services for Piedmont Healthcare, where she oversaw cardiovascular business strategy and growth, program development, clinical research, and continuing medical education across the health system. Jo played a vital role in the Piedmont Heart Institute branding refresh and their recent facility expansion project.<\/p>\n

    Jo has also served in leadership positions at Children\u2019s Healthcare of Atlanta and as a healthcare consultant for academic and community providers nationwide. She received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
