Before joining Shepherd Center, Debbie worked for six years as a medical case manager and provided mental health counseling in individual and group settings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy job allows me to connect with families and offer an opportunity that can change a person\u2019s life,\u201d Debbie said. \u201cI enjoy crisis counseling and providing services to those in traumatic or life-changing situations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Debbie earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in social work at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, and a master\u2019s degree in social work at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, backpacking and biking.
