Our intensive care unit (ICU) is designed to help you begin your rehabilitation journey as early as possible, ensuring that you receive the comprehensive and specialized care you need right from the start.<\/p>\n<h2>Why our ICU is essential to recovery<\/h2>\n<p>Shepherd Center is the only free-standing neurorehabilitation center with an ICU, and it plays a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. Our 10-bed neuro-intensive care unit is specifically designed for patients who are not yet medically stable and require intensive nursing care.
