We offer comprehensive services for the following diagnoses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Traumatic spinal cord injury that has resulted in paraplegia, tetraplegia, or high tetraplegia (including patients who use ventilators to breathe)<\/li>\n<li>Non-traumatic spinal cord injury, such as a spinal stroke, spinal tumors, or aneurysm<\/li>\n<li>Brain injury, encompassing traumatic brain injury, encephalitis, anoxia, and tumors, as well as those who are minimally conscious<\/li>\n<li>Stroke (for individuals who are medically and functionally appropriate)<\/li>\n<li>Multiple trauma (with or without brain or spinal cord injury)<\/li>\n<li>Traumatic amputations (with or without brain or spinal cord injury)<\/li>\n<li>Dual diagnosis (spinal cord and acquired brain injury)<\/li>\n<li>Neurological demyelinating illnesses, including multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barr\u00e9 syndrome, and acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Services we don&#8217;t provide<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Dialysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Inpatient admissions criteria<\/h2>\n<p>Eligibility for our inpatient programming is assessed based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meeting Shepherd Center\u2019s medical criteria for admissions, including conditions we treat (see above list) and not requiring services we don\u2019t provide (such as dialysis).<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining medical and surgical stability to ensure the best possible outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrating the ability to participate and tolerate three hours of therapy per day.<\/li>\n<li>Possessing a support system to provide the next phase of care upon discharge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"paragraph-widget paragraph-widget--cta\">\n  <div class=\"idf-block cta\">\n    <div class=\"cta__container\">\n      <div class=\"cta__description\">\n        <h2 class=\"cta__title\">Your path to healing begins at Shepherd Center<\/h2>\n                  <p class=\"cta__body\">Every individual&#8217;s journey is unique, and deciding to pursue rehabilitation can feel overwhelming.
