She coordinates admissions, facilitates consent processes, and ensures a smooth transition for patients upon arrival \u2014 often being one of the first friendly faces they encounter. Her goal is to create a warm and reassuring experience, leaving a lasting positive impression.<\/p>\n<p>Courtney\u2019s favorite part of working at Shepherd Center is witnessing patients\u2019 resilience and growth throughout their rehabilitation journey. Seeing their progress, supported by Shepherd\u2019s dedicated team, is both inspiring and rewarding.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining Shepherd, Courtney worked in Emory Rehabilitation Medicine\u2019s Department of Neuropsychology. She is currently a senior at Clayton State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with plans to earn a master\u2019s degree in social work focusing on public health.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of work and academics, Courtney loves spending time with her two children and family.
