During this surgery, a tendon with sufficient strength or a functioning nerve is carefully selected and transferred from its original attachment to another muscle site, restoring functional abilities. These injuries can affect individuals of any age group and present symptoms such as weakness or numbness in the hand or arm, shocking or burning sensations, and severe pain. Depending on the type and location of the brachial plexus injury, surgery may be recommended to repair the brachial plexus.
